5. INTRODUCTION OF IRONY
Irony is when the reality of something is different to the
expectation. In simple words irony is the opposite of what is
expected. Irony is used both in real life and in literature. If we
are to write a story, we can use irony to create empathy,
suspense, romantic tension, comedy, etc. In our daily life,
sometimes we say somethings that we don’t mean. This is also
a type of irony. If we think carefully, we can realize how much
irony is used all around us. So, it’s safe to say that irony is a
crucial part of our daily life.

about a story that a character doesn’t know. We are faced
with a lot of dramatic irony in our day to day life. When
