Wikipedia is used to obtain knowledge about objects and their relationships. Existing semantic search engines analyze relationships using a knowledge base extracted from Wikipedia, but have issues. The proposed system uses a new generalized maximum flow method to measure relationships by reflecting distance, connectivity, and cocitation between objects. It analyzes both explicit links and implicit link structure to better represent popular object importance.
