This study investigates the relationship between long-term geoelectric potential (LTGP) signals and seismic activity in Western Greece, utilizing data from 1993 to 1997 during which significant earthquakes occurred. A linear dynamical system approach is employed to model this relationship, revealing that LTGP signals can effectively predict earthquake magnitudes using the recursive least squares algorithm. The results suggest that these linear models are reliable tools for simulating seismic activity and hold potential for earthquake forecasting.
