This study presents a linear modeling approach to explore the dynamic relationship between long-term geoelectric potential (LTGP) signals and seismic activity in western Greece during a significant earthquake period from 1993 to 1997. By utilizing the recursive least squares algorithm, the research demonstrates that linear dynamic systems can effectively describe the behavior of seismic events, providing numerous encouraging results. The findings suggest the potential for combining this modeling approach with other prediction tools for improved forecasting of destructive earthquakes.
