- 3. How does Ackee Smart Meter work ? Ackee Smart Meter collects data every 15 minutes and sends them during the night to the datacenter, which stores them and makes them available on a dedicated web application the following day. Customers can keep an eye on their energy usage thanks to a user-friendly monitoring dashboard, available on any PC, tablet or smartphone. Ackee Smart Meter also sends alert notifications if energy consumption exceeds the pre-set threshold or in case of energy network breakdowns/maintenance operations from the energy service company. 3 Monitoring Data transmission Display Notifications

Installing Ackee Smart Meter is an easy and non-invasive process: you will just need to fix the sensor on the energy meter with the provided double-sided tape and to place its light sensor on the LED in order to collect its pulses. The system collects consumption data every 15 minutes and stores them on an internal memory during the whole day. Ackee SM works with a set of two long-lasting AAA batteries and doesn’t require any maintenance operation. It is possible to contact our customer service in case of malfunctions or problems, in order to solve any issue in the best possible way. Ackee SM monitors energy usage It just takes 5 minutes.
