actsens - why act with sense

Companies tend to react quite poorly when a crisis hits, because:

• Management is not always prepared to confront difficult situation -
    overwhelmed by events;
•   Time and resources are not always available;
•   An internal lack of expertise;
•   Core business and the reputation of a company can be in stake;
• Quite often the crisis hits faster than expected

                A first mover advantage can be reached
                with an effective preparation and
                professional advise

actsens - defining crisis

  Many definitions have been developed during the past 40 years, but in
  a nutshell, a crisis is an event that negatively affects the organization’s
  core business and reputation.

                Examples: the present economical crisis, false allegations
                in media, blogs or boycott campaigns, political unrest,
                sabotage, leaking of confidential information, change of
                regulation, legal investigations, strikes, bankruptcy of
                suppliers or customers, etc.
