Adverbs answer where, when, how, and to what extent?
When identifying adverbs, look for the verb first. Then look for adjectives.
Also look for any words that divide the verb.
Kitty does not want to play.
He pushed  on the netting .  very hard
He  cut me! nearly
She screamed  over the pot. noisily
I can  handle the mouse. now
He held the Coca Cola  on his head. precariously
NOW YOU TRY
The cows greatly feared for their lives.
Merry Moo Moo eyes you carefully.
I can almost find a map of the world on this cow!
He will not be hunting for a while!
I will be back later for more fan time.
