Various statistical data shows that women are more vulnerable to HIV transmission than men, with the highest rate of transmission being male-to-female. Biologically, women are at greater risk due to factors such as having a larger mucosal surface area exposed to viruses during sex and having less protective vaginal flora. Despite education efforts, attempts to warn women of these extreme biological risks have failed, highlighting the urgent need for women to take their vulnerability more seriously and protect themselves.
