• #3: When designing the AKW Bidet, our vision was to design and manufacture a genuine care bidet that was affordable for our customers When reviewing the retrofittable bidet market., we identified a gap in the market for a cost effective bidet with industry leading care features and benefits End users with a high level of reduced mobility tend to use an all integrated wash and go toilet. There is currently a place in the market for a true ‘Care’ retrofittable bidet We understand that housing providers face ever growing pressure with regards to requirements and budgets. As a technical bathroom adaption manufacturer, we are always looking to design and manufacture innovative solutions that will save you money whilst not comprising the features and benefits for the end user. The AKW bidet was designed with this in mind and will be priced to aid reducing the pressures hosing provides face. The bidet unit, seat and lid will be affordable and dependent on sanitaryware and installation costs, could fall within the £1000 threshold Depending on the level of need, a wash and dry toilet may be essential for the user
• #5: Temperature controlled water Instant water heating technology and include a range of temperature controls, so that the individual can alter the setting to suit their specific requirements. 5 stage temperature control Spray control Featuring an adjustable spray nozzle, so that spray intensity can be altered and that the type of spray can be changed to suit user comfort and cleaning requirements. 5 position posterior and feminine wash Designed for care, designed for the UK As care specialists the AKW Bidet has been designed with independence in mind. Both seat and lid feature grip tabs to assist with lifting and lugs that help facilitate side transfer. An internal light helps users with sight loss locate the toilet and a sensor ensures it can only be activated in use. The AKW Bidet has a robust construction that offers a weight limit of 175kg or 27.5 stone and an aperture sized specifically to fit UK pans. Dryer setting The AKW Bidet offers a range of drying temperatures and speeds, so that the preferences of the individual and their needs can be taken into account. Self-cleaning To ensure that the nozzle and surrounding area are hygienic before and after every use the AKW Bidet has a regular self-cleaning function Remote operation The remote makes the bidet easy to use for everybody, it removes the need to use the side controls. Using a remote can also support carer options whilst maximising dignity.
