The purpose of the observation assignment is to conduct an observation of a site on the campus of a
college or university to document student interaction. I chose to conduct observations on the campus
of the University of Alabama (UA). The site used for the observation is the Ferguson Student Center,
also known as the Ferg. According to the University of Alabama, the Ferguson Center is the heart is
the University of Alabama s campus. Being a native of Tuscaloosa, I knew the Ferguson Center has
always been a hot commodity student attraction. Originally, I planned to conduct observations on
Saturday. There was not much interaction on campus. The Ferguson Center was closed. I drove to
three (3) different locations on UA s campus before I realized students were not on campus.
I chose to conduct observations on Monday, July 3rd because the Ferguson Center was closed on the
weekend. Locating the Ferguson Center was difficult and confusing. Eventually, a University Police
Officer gave me directions. As one walks to the Ferguson Center, they will see an open space for
walking. In the walking area is a beautiful water foundation with patio tables and chairs surrounding
it. The scenery is very relaxing and few students were sitting and socializing. While standing in the
walking area, students will see the Ferguson center to the left and Student Support Services to the

a letter to Marcus Aurelious who he had chosen to be his successor as emperor. This book sheds light

getting our body used to dance. I have never taken a dance class before so when I first entered the
classroom, I was a little intimidated. One of the first things we learned was a warm up combination.

This report presents a case study analysis of the Platinum Concepts Pty Ltd. Jim Gunsberger is in his
late thirties and is the inventor of the Terminator. The Terminator is a gender neutral wrist accessory. It
looks like a large, but stylish hi‐tech wrist watch. The Terminator has attracted enormous popularity
among a wide range of people in various walks of life. Jim s business is a company called Platinum
Concepts Pty Ltd. The business manufactures the Terminator but obtains parts from external suppliers.
Most parts suppliers are located in Australia but one is based in England (supplying the Terminator s
casing) and another in Japan (supplying the digital screen and the Terminator s special internal power
supply which includes solar, nuclear and friction power components). Jim has built the business to
perform most major functions that are typical of a medium sized enterprise.
Later the business started facing communication problems between its departments because of the lack
of proper business process management and this led to the downfall of the company s progress in the
market. This was found that there was a major communication failure between company s departments
which results in delay of product delivery to the customer.

threatening that it would possess violent behavior and lead into state terror to repress opposition to
