This document summarizes an investigation into the accuracy and performance of a lightweight GPS tag used to track wildlife. Tests were conducted on the tag's accuracy in different conditions, including static open areas, areas with tree canopy cover, and during movement. Results found the tag had a mean error of 28.970m for Easting and 37.112m for Northing, and successfully obtained GPS fixes 67% of the time. The tag's reported accuracy of <15m was not achieved. Testing evaluated the tag's real-world performance for wildlife tracking applications.
