We asked a group of fifteen individuals aged between 15 and 19 to give us feedback on our magazine advert and digipak. We devised a questionnaire consisting of four questions regarding our magazine advert and digipak. The four questions were as follows:Do you feel the multitude of fonts is in keeping with the rest of the design? If no, why not?Do you feel the advert holds enough information? If not, what do you feel is missing?Do you feel you can establish a clear motif from the two products? If so, what do you believe it is?4. Do you feel the digipak holds all the information you would like to see on this product? If not, what do you feel is missing?From the answers to question one we found that 9 people agreed that the font was in keeping with the rest of the design. However, we found that 6 individuals disagreed. The reasons given for this were: “There are too many fonts used, it’s a bit confusing,” and “The different fonts do not appear to compliment each other as well as they perhaps could.” The answers to question two informed us that 13 individuals out of the 15 we asked thought that the advert had enough information on it. However, two of the sample that we asked this question to thought there should be more, including “a Website for the band.”From the answers to our last question we discovered that 9 of our sample felt there should be more information on our digipak, and 6 were happy with the level of the information shown. Those who felt there should be more suggested “more photographs” or perhaps “information about the band.” Question three asked our respondents about motif. We found that 11 individuals felt they understood the motif and 4 felt they did not. Those who felt they understood the motif suggested that it regarded a city life in contrast to a country life- reflecting our desired motif of urban vs rural. To conclude, we discovered that we successfully managed to portray the motif  we were hoping to, and that it is generally agreed that our magazine advert holds enough information. However, it would appear that if we were to make these products again we may consider using more similar fonts or not quite as many , and we may also consider putting more information in the digipak. Lastly, in order to be more efficient and to aid ourselves, to collect data again we may use something other than questionnaires. For example, we could have emailed the sample- saving money on paper and being a less time consuming method.
