Analysis of Fonts Used
Font – BlairMdITC TT
Size – 18
Font Style – Normal
Colour – White
Alignment – Each title was aligned in a different place.
We chose to used this font and font size as everyone in
our group had agreed that it was professional, clear
and easy to read. The text was written in white as we
thought it stood out against the clips and was eye
catching. We kept the font style normal as we didn’t
want to make it too obvious and distract the viewer
from the video itself. Throughout the opening credits
we used the same font; however, we did change the
alignment for each credit. We done this as we thought
it looked interesting and unique.
Font – Arial Unicode MS
Size – 14
Font Style – Normal
Colour – Black
Alignment – Left

In our opening sequence, our protagonists
mobile and landline phones are very
significant as this is what our storyline is
based around. We decided that we
wanted to have a scene where Zoe is
texting her mother and to make it more
interesting for the viewer, we wanted to
have the conversation appear on screen so
that they could follow along.
At the end of our opening sequence we
wanted to have the name of our film as we
didn’t have it shown at the beginning. We
decided to use the colour white, but we
added a glowing special effect as we
wanted it to stand out compared to the
rest of the texts used in the video. We
used a fade in effect so that we could end
the opening sequence with an impact.
