About Me
My name is Ana and I am a story crafter, writer and
community builder based in Chicago, IL.
I'm a communications professional specializing in
content curation, marketing strategy and storytelling.
I work best with fellow creatives, brands looking to
connect with multicultural, millennial audiences, and
organizations that exist at the intersection of social
justice and pop culture.
I have a degree in Media and Cinema Studies and five
years of experience helping brands authentically
cultivate and communicate their identities across
social media, email and blog content. My past clients
have included recording artists, music festivals, event

coverage for the Boston, London, Chicago, NYC, Berlin and Tokyo

Surf Sweets is a candy brand that offers safe and delicious
sweets to families living with food allergies. In my role, I
authentically spoke to the target demographic of mothers
looking for safer eating options, while also expanding brand
awareness and loyalty to people without dietary restrictions in
search of better-for-you treats.
Highlights:
• Grew Instagram audience 827% from contract start to end
• Conceptualized and oversaw the production of an Instagram
video campaign

I created and reinforced the spirited voice of Talbott Teas
online by leading the charge on content development and
blog posts. In doing so, I was able to bring the brand to life
by cultivating a vibrant and participatory social media
community on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.
Highlights:
• Strategized, designed and executed a seasonal campaign
that grew the client’s email database by 5,000 contacts in
2 weeks
• This campaign included: original blog content, influencer outreach, a
contest and social media posts

• While at Superfly, much of the work I did went straight
into new business proposals, earning new clients for the
firm, or into marketing briefs, which essentially formed
the foundation of interactive strategies. My strategy to
market the toy, Battroborgs, via mobile game trucks
resulted in a successful nationwide campaign tour.

Highlights:
• I created Humans of MUB as a space for the first-year
students of Munroe and Belden-Racine Halls to share
their unique stories with the greater DePaul community.
In the process, the page received 10,822 unique views
within a two month time frame, was shard at Higher
Education conferences, received 3 departmental awards
and has dedicated viewers on 4 continents.

Social Media Manager for various brands, I like to share my
