Jeevan Prakash Education Society was established in 2003 to provide education, rehabilitation, life skills training, and vocational training to visually impaired children. It started Asha Deepa School for the Blind (ADSFB) that same year. ADSFB is a residential school that also conducts community-based rehabilitation programs in rural villages in Bidar and Gulbarga districts. Since starting, it has rehabilitated over 40 visually impaired children aged 4-15. It provides education, food, clothing, healthcare, and teaches life skills and vocational skills. It also works to identify new visually impaired children in villages and educate parents on supporting their children.
