team productivity? A team can be considered a successful group when there is a
communication and transparency, I regard them as key foundation elements. There are
many strategies that can applied to create a productive team. Periodic discussion need to
happen in order to identify impediments well in advance. Classifying dependencies and
determining solutions to problems help achieve productivity. Setting attainable goals- the
team leader should always have a fair understanding of the goals and team members ability
and skillset/capabilities. Goals should always be realistic, practical and attainable. Great
results can be achieved if there is constructive feedback and retrospective sessions for the
team to perform better and learn from mistakes. This will help each team member grow
together. A team leader should always give and take feedback about the improvement and
progress of the team. By doing this team and team leader can work on it and improve
themselves and team. Samoilenko, J. (2017). Team productivity can be accessed through
performance review sessions. In an agile team retrospective sessions help self-introspect.
Measurement of team velocity with respect to capacity is a great measure value to access
productivity and motivate the team. Burndown metrics and charts are also a proven way to
show numbers and statistics of a team’s performance. What conditions need to be in place
for teams to excel and why? Working with a good team leader is always a beneficial
condition for a team to grow. Clear understanding of the goal will surely help the team work
towards attaining it. Identifying the skill sets and channelizing the work will help the team
be comfortable. Providing the team with required tools, building efficient processes, team
building activities will always help the team excel. Improving the efficiency of the team will
be majorly dependent on creating the right work environment for the team. Bridging
communication gaps will keep the team in sync to handle conflicts. Exchange of knowledge
and information amongst all the team members helps promote a cross functional team. In
an agile environment, creating valuable and meaningful sprint goals will help drive the team
to excel. Suggest ways to design teamwork so that threats to performance is minimized?
Identifying dependencies and road blocks well in advance and documenting them helps
attain faster means to resolve it. Clear designated roles for each employee help gain clarity
in terms of who does what, this will help in backtracking in terms of bugs or defects.

threats. Risk assessment sessions, constantly working on improvising the scope/vision and

1. What conditions need to be in place for teams to excel and why? It is important to access
team productivity to analyze and recognize team performance. Collaborative tools and
techniques may access team productivity. Several collaborative tools, the business
organization may use to access team productivity such as video conferencing, e-mail, web
conferencing, bulletin boards, and the software of data management. With private
communication tools such as smartphone and laptops, a manager may access the team
productivity. These essential collaborative tools allow the organizational managers to
interconnect with the members, provide feedback, plan the mission, and monitor the
performance of team members. 2. What conditions need to be in place for teams to excel
and why? To gain high team performance, there are several conditions taken into
consideration. It is recognized that communication is vital to team members. With proper
communication between the team members, there will be a common mission between the
team members, and there will be less opportunities for organizational conflicts (Wang &
Holahan, 2017). Another main condition is information sharing behavior between the team
members. It recognized that without information-sharing, there would be no place for
development, the formation of current ideas, and refining the organizational performance.
Employee empowerment is also a condition. It provides a chance to take effective decisions
on their own and having a responsibility between the team members. 3. One of the main
threat for low organizational performance is an absence of effective communication among
the team members. Another thing is the absence of cooperation between the team
members. So, these two are the main issues of focus, when designing the teams. There must
be more flexibility for the organizational members to discuss the work between the team
members, and create new skills (Fapohunda & M., 2013). To control proper satisfaction
between the team members and remove organizational conflicts, duties to be assigned in a
way that each team member get fulfills with assigned duties. 4. As a manager, how would
you reward teamwork? As a manager, I would like to reward my teamwork by adopting
below essential points: · Include team goals and collaboration in personal reviews. · Reward
the act and the consequence of team collaboration. · Permit to say freely. · Provide more
opportunities for the employees to learn more. · Give off-site fun. · Give incentives or
bonuses for they’re well work (P., 2013). Answer : Please add your comments whether you
