This paper proposes a deformation detection particle filter (DDPF) for tracking multiple maneuvering targets using a dynamic model within a particle filtering framework. The DDPF improves upon the basic SIR particle filter algorithm by updating the target model during changes in rotation or scaling, enhancing tracking accuracy in real-world airshow videos. Experimental results demonstrate that DDPF significantly outperforms the basic SIR-PF algorithm in scenarios where the target's model deforms.
