Project: Treasury Data Integration, JP Morgan Chase
This project is about to build a Centralized Hub for Treasury data in Bigdata using Hadoop. Currently it
has multiple individual systems which serves the required outgoing feeds for other systems. The current
system is lacking to handle and process huge volume of data and there is a bottleneck in keeping the
system with the expected performance. Hence, JPMC wanted to build a hub for Treasury data where it
can serve efficiently for all the outgoing feeds for the required systems.

Responsibilities::
 Developing the Hive Queries to import the data from the local environment to HDFS
environment
 Moved all crawl data flat files generated from various retailers to HDFS for further processing.

51/49 joint venture.
The Stock Option SOPT and Stock Purchase SP10 applications support the administration and
execution of employee stock ownership programs including stock purchase, stock options, restricted
stock and stock appreciation rights. The stock purchase system functions as a mini brokerage or retail
account management system that applies all rules against share positions. The stock option system
supports the other ESOP products including trading functionality for the Stock purchase system
accounts. SOPT and SP10 are mainframe back office applications that receive data from the
administration platforms PMC, Sapphire through FTP files. PMC provides the main interfacing with
corporate clients and has both standard and unique pipelines for handling client data. Sapphire
provides total administration of stock options, stock appreciation rights, and restricted stock plans and
is in the process of trying to implement for stock purchase clients.

Management) mutual fund produces checks and four types of confirmations: Financial (e.g. Buy of
funds or sale of funds), Non-Financial (e.g. change Of address), MFA (business) and B-to-D confirms
(e.g. changing class of Mutual fund). There is both an online and a batch process and this system

There is both an online and a batch process and this system divided in to two categories. 1). Core 2). Reporting Core is divided in to two parts Money Market Trading and Mutual Fund Trading and Reporting handles the different kinds of reports (Blue sky, Confirmation, Disbursements & Mailings).
