- 1. New MHN 2000 W-version The ArenaVision 403 incorporates the renewed MHN-SA lamp, enabling problem-free lamp replacement without tools. It is also suitable for the new MHN-SA 2000 W lamp, which delivers up to 15 % more light than the comparable MHN 1800 W lamp while keeping its excellent colour characteristics. Lamp features • Integrated system of optics, gear and transverse MHN-SA 1800 MHN-SA 2000 MHN-LA 1000 W or lamp in a single housing, achieving high efficiency and low glare • The MHN-SA 2000 W is available in two versions: MHN-SA 2000/956 with 180.000 lm meets the highest international CTV requirements (Ra = 90, Tk = 5600K) The MHN-SA 2000/856 with 200.000 lm, for a pleasing and natural colour rendering (Ra = 85) and natural atmosphere (Tk = 5600), is also well suited for TV and filming • The MHN-SA 1800 W lamp has the same colour quality as the MHN-SA 2000/956 • The lamps are exactly positioned in the luminaire by means of its brackets in order to provide optimal beam control • Thanks to the new lamp, the installer only needs to fix the lamp mechanically and not electrically as well. Every aspect has been improved, including: design, power, efficiency, ease of installation, reliability and flexibility. Main applications • Outdoor sports lighting • Architectural lighting. Luminaire features • Together with the unique, patented oval optics the new MHN-SA 2000 W lamp guarantees highest system efficiency possible, low glare and best ever lighting levels possible on the field • Built-in reflector minimises spill light and glare even further • Rear opening access for easy lamp-(re)placement • 380/415 V versions equipped as standard with series ignitor and terminal block, in an aluminium housing on the bracket • 220/240 V versions equipped with aluminium installation box. Semi-parallel ignitor installed on a separate geartray • Wire mesh to prevent large pieces of falling glass • Safety switch, to be connected to 230 V mains, to cut off current when luminaire is opened • Hot re-strike versions available for all lamp versions, enabling immediate restoration of lighting after power supply failure • Uplighting versions available in 220/240 V MHN-LA 1000 W and MHN-SA 1800 W for architectural lighting. Materials and finish Non-corrosive, high pressure diecast aluminium housing and hinged rear cover. Anodized and brightened 99.8 % pure aluminium reflectors. Chemically toughened 1.6 mm thick front glass for downlighting versions and 4 mm thick ceramic glass for uplighting versions. Stainless steel clips for direct lamp access. Hot-dipped galvanised steel mounting bracket. Pre-wired geartray Pre-wired geartrays are available. See page 202 in this catalogue. Gearboxes must be ordered separately. Installation Lightweight and easy to carry thanks to the integrated handle. 360º bracket adjustment with triple aiming facilities at either side of the housing. Horizontal adjustment to allow close group arrangements. Optionally available is an aiming memory which safeguards the original aiming position of the luminaire after servicing. Ambient temperature: 35º outdoor (25º indoor) for 1800/2000 W version and 45º (indoor and outdoor) for 1000 W version. Projected area under 70º: 0.20 m2 , Cx = 0.93. MVF 401 The ArenaVision 401 is ideal for indoor sports applications as well as many outdoor uses. Moreover, the compact double-ended and MHN-LA 1000 watt lamps produce more lumen per watt than any other conventional sports lighting system. Hence, the 401 offers the same world class performance as its well- known brother: ArenaVision MVF 403 for outdoor sports stadia. ArenaVision 401 distributes well-controlled, low glare beams in an extremely efficient way, thanks to the long life 1000 W lamps and the optimised oval optics offering medium and wide beam spreads.
