These 3 Projects were emergency response projects for the US Army Corps of Engineers and FEMA after the tornado devastated Joplin, MO on 05/22/11. William, Gary, Cliff, and Victoria at Mahaffey were all really great to work with, it is pretty easy to list some of the many reasons we are so pleased with Mahaffey’s performance: 1. Competitive pricing; we bid these units out to the market and Mahaffey provided what we feel is a superior, better looking product at more competitive pricing. 2. They were very prompt with their design engineering and submittals. 3. They delivered exactly when they said they would, and completed work on site ahead of the schedule they promised us. 4. Their field erection crew led by Cliff Freda was excellent. Cliff is a very good man, and a good manager. We had an excellent working relationship with their field crew and management because they were professional, cooperative, very competent, and they cared. 5. Even the US Army Corps of Engineers was impressed with their product and field crew, and they are not easy to please. 6. They knew exactly what to do and needed almost no guidance from us, they worked out their own permits, problems, approvals, etc…, they managed their own work without us having to ask them to do things. They were self starters with no whining, no complaining, they just got the job done. I could write more, but no need, you get the point. Mahaffey was a pleasure to work with. Emergency relief projects for the US Army Corps of Engineers are always challenging, Mahaffey Fabric Structures met all those challenges and really exceeded our expectations.
