According to IBM’s Global AI Adoption Index 2022, around 35% of organizations have adopted AI and another 42% are exploring AI adoption globally. This means, there is huge potential for skilled AI professionals across the globe – currently only 10% of AI professionals are skilled (according to World Economic Forum). It seems to be like a vicious circle – due to a shortage of skills, the adoption of AI in organizations is hampered. The only solution to disrupt this circle is to upskill and reskill the AI workforce through AI education. Adoption of AI-augmented automation Gartner says, more than 40% of Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) teams will adopt AI-augmented automation in large organizations for higher agility and scalability. Increase in Cloud-based AI Cloud technologies such as cognitive APIs, containers, and serverless computing will be highly utilized in 2023 forcing organizations to adopt cloud-based AI for reducing cost and enabling independent functions. Improved NLP Due to hyper-automation, machines interpreting human language must become effective to carry out tasks with intelligence specifically in the healthcare sector.
