• Verification of coating, Insulation and PFP/CSP materials and relevant documents prior to usage.
• Verification of mixing of paints and mixing ratio of PFP/CSP materials. Verification of wet film and dry film
of various coatings and linings.
• Verification of insulation documents, storage of materials prior to usage.
• Inspect/witness all quality control testings during test panel/production including surface preparation.
• On site inspection of surface preparation and painting works including verification of climatic conditions
and various QC tests.
• Inspection of FBE coatings, Coat and wrap for underground piping.
• Preparation of procedure, Inspection test plan and QC records. .

electrodes, filler wire, flux and gas are used.

• Inspection of welds, visual examination and test are carried out and documentation in accordance
with “ITP” for site activities, verifying the inspection record and validating the relevant result.
• All the NDT offerings with respect to the material wise and Tie-in requirements and its interpretation
of test results
• Checking the adequacy of equipment for pre-heating, welding, heat treatments and weld
examination.
• Monitoring the performance and capability of each welder on the basis of radiograph inspection/test.
Review of all procedure & other doc related in mechanical Welding/NDE aspect.
• Checking heat treatments for PWHT diagrams. Checking the correct measurements of hardness,
when required, and the acceptability of the result.
• Filling/documentation and retaining of all NDT reports, heat treatments report and inspection
reports. Informing QC Manager regarding the problems which require their decision. Checking
welding parameters as per WPS required.
• Verifying the adequacy of the Quality Control Procedure. Checking that inspections and test are
carried out and documented in accordance with the approved procedure and quality plans.
Documentation/filling of all piping inspections records.
• Conducting training programs for welders, fitters and supervisors about quality, need for it and how
to maintain it in the site activities.
• Review of test packages clearance/ punch listing as per project specification as per system before
hydrostatic testing prior to pre-commissioning.
• Inspection of piping pre-fabrication/erection as per ITP. Dimensional checking of piping as per
approved isometric drawings. Line checking of piping, review of test packages, punch list carried out
conforming to ISO, P&ID and project specification prior to test.
• Checking heat number on required piping traceability. Checking of pipe support pre-fabrication as per
approved construction detail drawings. Checking of piping materials as per piping materials
specification (PMS).
• Prepare punch list records to monitor the progress of works inclusive of balance of joints for testing.
Prepare non-conformance reports for discrepancies encountered during inspection and as per project
specifications. Updating QC documentation reports for filling. Reporting to QC Manager to discuss
problems during inspection/surveillance.
• Responsible to review plan drawings to P&I Diagrams to prepare isometric drawing, material take-off,
check material to be used as per specification and engineering standards. Supervise sub-contractor in
fabrication and installation of pipe spools and pipe supports to assure quality.
