I. E-Governance Application of Newtown Kolkata Development Authority.
New Town Kolkata Development Authority (NKDA) has been formed with the appointment of the
Chairman and members of the Authority vide Housing Department no. 01-H2/NT/2/2009 at Kolkata on
1st January 2009 .The New Town Kolkata Development Authority Act 2007 duly passed by the West
Bengal legislature and assented by Honorable President of India. The Development Authority was
formed to provide for planned development as well as rendering various services & amenities in the areas

Project Name: Computerization of Property Tax Project Details: Property Tax is imposed on the property owner/holder. Computerization of property tax helps citizen of Newtown, Kolkata to file objections and attend the hearing respect to the demand bill, generated by HIDCO corresponding to the property and as well as the user can pay his/her property tax through a gateway or bank challan, which provides 24*7 service. Role: Responsible as one of the team member in requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and support to NKDA as per requirement. Team Size: 4 (Four). 2. Project Name : Generation of Death and Birth Certificate Project Details: In the project of online and offline deployment of issuing death and birth certificate, after uploading all the details of deceased/new born baby including required documents , all the documents are verified in computerized process. Death and Birth certificate is generated as hard copy as well as sent to applicant’s email. In this project we have done SMS and email integration in every step. Role: Responsible as one of the team member in requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and support to NKDA as per requirement. Team Size: 4 (Four). 3. Project Name : Generation of Trade License Project Details: In the project of online and offline deployment of issuing Trade License, after uploading all the details of corresponding business/trade including required documents , all the documents are verified in computerized process. The applicant can pay his/her payment for trade license through a gateway or bank challan. Trade License is generated as hard copy as well as sent to applicant’s email.
