In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms
                   and conventions of real media products?

Front cover similarities-




                                  Masthead




                                  Dominant MCU
                                image using rule of
                                      thirds




                                   Cover lines


                                   Both have a
                               background matching
                                the colour scheme
Front cover differences-        My mast head is
                                rounded and the
                               VOGUE mast head is
                                 over the image
                               whereas my image is
                                  underneath

                               The VOGUE front
                             cover has cover lines
                                 on both sides
                              whereas mine only
                             has them on the left

                              My image the girl is
                              looking towards the
                              camera front on
                              whereas the VOGUE
                              magazine her body is
                              turned away from the
                              camera but her head
                              turned towards it
                              creating a more
                              mysterious effect

                           I have used banners at the top
                            and bottom whereas this one
                                hasn’t included them

                             attract reader



                        Both include the date issued
                           in the top right corner
Contents page differences-
                              My contents includes
                                   3 little images
                                whereas VOGUE is
                               one main image, by
                             using one main image
                             it is as if that person is
                             welcoming the reader
                             and telling them what
                                      to expect


                              A lot more text is on
                              the VOGUE contents
                               page whereas mine
                              states the page titles
                               VOGUE gives more
                                extra information

                                  My titles have
                                 banners behind
                                  them whereas
                                 VOGUE’s doesn’t

                                  VOGUE contents
                                    page doesn’t
                                  include a banner
What have you learnt about the technologies from the
                         process of constructing this product


Digital Camera
                            We used a digital camera to take the original images that
                            we were potentially going to use in our contents and front
                            cover magazine, we could then upload them onto the
                            computer ready to edit in the other programmes




           We used adobe Photoshop CS6
