Assignment 2: Required Assignment 1—Intercultural Employee
Motivation and Rewards
Culture plays a major role in the motivation of employees.
Consider that though you have a mix of ethnicities on your
team, you also need to be aware of cultural differences
including gender, generation, and other categories of human
differences.
Write an 8–10-page report on employee motivation, including a
recommendation for an employee reward system that will meet
the needs of the variety of cultural groups you manage based on
the following motivation factors:
Job security
Professional development
Job performance
Goal setting
Employee recognition
Compensation
Discuss employee motivation as it relates to culture, and
consider how you might develop a reward system that
recognizes diversity and is equitable and legally sound. Support
your recommendations with scholarly references.
Write an 8–10-page report in Word format. Apply APA
standards to citation of sources. Use the following file naming
convention: LastnameFirstInitial_M3_A2.doc.
