- 2. Breakfast at Tiffany’s Let the right one in Chicago Zodiac Mildred Pierce
- 3. I have purposely chosen very different films. I can gather different elements of these films and combine them to create my opening sequence.

- 5. - Good use of props, that are appropriate for the character. The location and kiss in the rain are used effectively to echo the feelings of the characters. The iconic scene where Holly has breakfast outside Tiffany’s whilst looking at the jewellery.
- 6. The particular scene is the first scene, where she stands outside Tiffany’s. The opening scene has a variety of shots and lets the viewer understand the actresses location. It really sets the scene without a spectacular amount of movement.
- 7. Effective use of blood Fresh faced look to emphasise innocence.
- 8. I liked the idea of keeping a scrapbook of violent newspaper clippings, as seen in Let The Right One In I loved how Oskar was made to look like a bully, but we find that he is actually being bullied. I like to use something similar in my opening sequence
- 9. In this scene, the camera doesn’t quite focus on the words, but it then zooms in on a very important word that reveals quite a lot.
- 10. I enjoyed the use of a strong female character.
- 11. A scene from Chicago, where Velma washes blood from her hands, I enjoyed the camera shots used to film this small moment in the film.
- 12. The odd text the killer used was intriguing and made the story more interesting. I liked the fact that it was based on a true story, because it makes the whole idea of it realistic, as it did actually take place.
- 13. ZØdiac Creating messages out of something no one else understands, as seen in Zodiac, is an great concept and so it is an inspirational scene for me.
- 15. In Mildred Pierce, when she is being interviewed by the detective over the death of her husband, I believe this to be an inspirational scene. She looks frightened but unwilling to crack. I hope to show this in my characters when I make my opening sequence.
