This document describes an automatic water distribution and leakage detection system using a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA). The system uses solenoid valves controlled by the PLC to open and close water flow based on signals from high and low level sensors in a water tank. A flow transmitter measures water flow through pipes and sends pulses converted to voltage by a Hall effect sensor to the PLC. The PLC also controls flow sensors to detect leaks by comparing pressures between two sensors. The system aims to save water, reduce human errors, detect theft, and prepare for future water shortages by automating distribution and monitoring usage data.
