This document describes an autonomous borewell rescue system to safely rescue children who have fallen down uncovered borewells. It proposes using a camera to detect the child's depth and posture, delivering oxygen, inflating a balloon below the child, gripping the child's head with a vacuum, covering them with a membrane, and lifting them out along with the balloon. The system aims to complete rescues within 120 minutes without harming the child. It cites several references describing similar borewell rescue robots.
