Have both the hands on top of
the wakeboard and push the
wakeboard down into the water
Landing on the heel then the
toes
Place hand in the middle of
kickboard. Using the kickboard,
perform the outward
movements to the side of the
person as in the abduction and
adduction motion.
In a supine position, place both
feet flat on the wall with a
student behind to keep him in a
crouched position. Participant
will push off the wall and will
turn away from the wall and
stand up.
Using one leg at a time, pick up
the sinking rings with the foot
Increase the strength of the
triceps
Walking naturally where the
heel and toe touch the ground
Increase range of motion in the
shoulders
Increase strength in the leg
muscles

Using different objects, have
the participant identify the color
and what the object is
Using one foot, place the
kickboard under the foot and
keep it under your foot. Once
stabilized, slowly bring back up
to the surface.
Laying on their back, bend the
knees to where the inner legs
are facing up and then
straighten the knees as if
pushing off of something
Laying on their back, have the
participant swing their arms out
to their side as in the abduction
motion and then bring back
towards their body as in the
adduction motion.
Place a noodle under the
participant’s arms and have the
participant bend their knees and
then straighten their knees as if
they were riding a bicycle.
Improve cognitive function
Increase balance
Increase strength in the leg
muscles
Increase strength in the upper
arms and shoulders and
increase range of motion in the
shoulder
Increase range of motion in the
knees and increase strength of
the leg muscles
