Level               : Computer Literacy for Grade 2

I.    Objectives

      1.Define Keyboarding
      2.Identify the Row Keys on the Keyboard.
      3.Familiarize the proper position of the fingers while typing on the keyboard.
      4.Show interest in applying the proper way of typing on the keyboard.

II. Subject Matter

      Keyboarding, Row Keys of the Keyboard, Finger Zones

III. Tools and Materials

       NSS, Computer, Handouts, Keyboard, Technokids Additional Materials, Learn typing Quick and Easy
        software

IV.    Preparation

        1.Check class attendance.
        2.Distribute handouts.

V.     Presentation

        1.Discuss to the class the class the ff:

            a. Keyboarding – a psychomotor skill involving the touch method of input to a standard keyboard
            device. The focus of keyboarding course is primarily an input rather than an output.

        2. Row Keys on the Keyboard

            Top Row Keys – letters Q , W , E, R, T, Y, U, I, O, U , P
            Home Row Keys – A, S, D, F, G, H, K, L and the symbol colon, semi-colon

            Bottom Row Keys – Z, X, C, V, B, N, M, less than symbol, comma, greater      than symbol,
            period, question mark and slash symbols
