- 1. Basic Thesis/Dissertation structure In this blog we are going to discuss the basic thesis/dissertation structure. The basic structure may vary based on the subject and university guidelines. However, the following structure can be used frame initial thesis/dissertation structure. Introduction: Here we discuss about the topic of the interest. It gives the basic idea to the reader about the chosen title. The aim, object and research questions are framed in this chapter. It also shows reason for choosing the topic and the chaptalization to be followed. Literature Review: In this chapter, the previous literature related to the topic of interest is discussed. It is advised to start with the literature review chapter as the research is framed based on the previous studies. The aim, object and research questions are supposed to be framed based on the gap. This chapter also gives the literature backing for the topic. Research Methodology: Here, the methodology that is going to be adopted in the study is discussed. The reason for choosing the particular method should also be mentioned Results: It is 4th chapter and it discuss the results that we achieved for the approach that we have used. The statistical calculation are done here and the results are interpreted. Discussion & Conclusion: In this chapter the finding from previous chapter is discussed in reference to the previous literature. The recommendation, suggestions, limitation and conclusion of the study comes under this chapter.
