- 12. Science and faith are not CONTRADICTORY, but COMPLEMENTARY The more we learn the more we recognize the PRECISION required to support life and the IMPOSSIBILITY in arriving at that exactness merely by chance. The nemesis of SCIENCE without GOD is why is there something rather than nothing?
- 13. CREATION points us to a CREATOR Who deserves our WORSHIP The grammar of Genesis 1 leaves room for the CONCEPT of the Trinity, though that doctrine is not DEVELOPED here. “The heavens and the earth” is a MERISM, using contrasting parts to indicate TOTALITY.
- 14. God is transcendent yet PERSONALLY ENGAGED God, through His CREATIVE ACTS has provided a place for humanity.
- 15. God gives design and purpose by creating distinction and establishing boundaries both in CREATION as well as LIFE God created for His GLORY Male and female are made DISTINCT from the rest of creation, including the ANIMAL world.
