The Bermuda Triangle is an imaginary area in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean where a number of aircraft and ships are said to have disappeared under mysterious circumstances. The boundaries of the triangle include Miami, Florida, San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Bermuda. Several ships and planes have gone missing in this area, including USS Cyclops in 1918 and Flight 19 in 1945. Strong ocean currents, violent storms, and other natural explanations are often cited as the most likely reasons for disappearances, rather than supernatural or alien events.
