Lesson Plan
I. Objective:
By the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to name what food is good for
The body.
II. Materials
Picture of junk foods, fruits and vegetables, milk and juice
III. Procedure
A. Motivation
Prepared nutritious food such as: fruits, milk and juice. Let the pupils eat and
drink them. Tell them to say something about the food they have had.
B. Lesson Proper
1. ask the pupils to recall the food they have prepared and eaten with their
Classmates. Write the name of the food and let your pupils read the
Word. Ask them why they need to eat nutritious food.
2. Shows picture of nutritious food and junk foods. Let them identify and try
Spelling the name of each. Let the pupils distinguish the nutritious food from
Unhealthy food.
3. Discuss that our body need nutritious food to keep it strong and healthy.
Enumerate examples of nutritious food such as vegetable, fruits etcetera.
4. Tell your pupils also to clean surrounding help us to stay healthy. Enumerate
Ways of keeping our surrounding clean.
IV. Generalization
A. We should eat nutritious foods to keep us healthy.
B. We should avoid eating junk foods.
C. We should keep our surrounding clean.
V. Evaluation
Give each pupil a piece of paper with these drawings. Ask them to cross out the
junk foods and check the nutritious foods.
VI. Assignment
Ask pupils to list down the nutritious food they will have for the next four
days. Let your pupils parent sign their children list.
