Issue 11
Dear Member
Welcome to issue 11 of your newsletter. We would
like to also extend this to our new members who
have recently joined Unison , and hope that they will
enjoy the benefits of being a member. We have
again been through another round of restructures
and Unison has risen to the challenge in representing
its members and offering advice and support. If you
have any queries, or are worried about any aspect of
the process, please contact us, so we are able to
guide you through this difficult time. We hope that
you enjoy this edition of the newsletter and welcome
thoughts, ideas or suggestions for future
publications.

A survey is being developed by the Black
Members group to assess member satisfaction at
City Hall. We are urging members to complete
this short questionnaire. The survey results will
form part of a roundtable discussion in due
course. It is vital that staff use this opportunity
to have their voices heard, as we are keen to
bring issues to the attention of management .
First 50 respondents will receive a free gift
upon completion of the survey
Pay Claim 2013-14
A letter has been sent to Jeff Jacobs in
respect of a claim for a pay award
for 2013-14. Unison and management
are currently in negotiations and all
members will be kept updated as
developments happen. If you have any
questions please do not hesitate to
contact Lorraine Eyers or Abena
