Background
 BreadTalk is a listed bakery
based in Singapore that was
founded in July 2000 by George
Quek.
 They are selling a wide variety of
bread, cakes, buns and pastries.
 The group has a network of over
800 outlets in 16 countries such
as Singapore, China, Malaysia,
Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines,
Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong,
Oman, Jordan, Bahrain, India
and Cambodia.
How BreadTalk become
successful?
• The reason why they become
successful is because of their
creativeness and uniqueness.
• They give customer a total experience
because of the “open kitchen” wherein
they can see how the bread was
process.
OPEN KITCHEN
 They also invites international chefs
that has culinary expertise.
 They also developed 8-10 new
products every three months.
 Every bread has a unique and
interesting names and they make it
appealing to the eye.

LEARNINGS
 We learn that location is important in
making a business, it has to be
accessible, safe and clean. It can also
help if its in the place wherein there
are many people or many potential
customer.
 The product or service you offer is
surely safe and clean that can sustain
the customer needs and wants.
 Man power is also important. We must
hire an experts and the employee must
trained well.
 And of coarse we learned that its not
easy to manage a business because of
many competitors. So creativity and
uniqueness is very important to attract
customers and give them a good
product or service. Because just like the
BreadTalk, they always have something
new in their product or in their bread. So
in making a business we have to take a
risk and don’t be afraid to try something
new.
