The core idea behind this slide is that the enterprise WAN is dramatically changing due to the convergence of cloud, mobile, and IoT technologies. Traditionally, companies used private networks to access remote sites and data centers securely, but managing connections across multiple mobile private networks became complex, especially with increased remote work. Adding international users, cloud applications, and billions of IoT devices with varied access methods exacerbated issues of cost, complexity, and performance.
