This document outlines activities for week 1 of a building drawing course. Students will be introduced to building drawings, material symbols, and floor plans and scales. They will watch a video of a 2-3 story house design and list details they observed. Students will then analyze example floor plans in small groups and present one sketch of their own floor plan to peers. Individual assignments include analyzing a floor plan and creating a drawing in class. Group assignments consist of building a single story model and a written report on an assigned topic.

- 1. BUILDING DRAWING T&L ACTIVITIES WEEK 1: Content: Pengenalan kepada Lukisan Bangunan, Simbol bahan dalam lukisan, Pelan lantai dan skala 1. Form a small group of 4 (lecturer will select the members for each group). 2. Show the students 2/3 storey house design video. 3. In 5 minute, students need to list down what they have seen in the video. 4. Present to others friend. ( friends can make arguing) 5. Give the student 3 example of single storey design with specification- ask them to choose one the best and justify 6. Symbol in building drawing (lecture, notes- uploaded in e-learning) 7. Showing to the student the example of floor plan ( single storey) 8. Asking the students to discuss in group and provide one sketch or single storey floor plan with the detail. Present to others friend. (other group can make arguing) Assignment: 1. Every student need to find 1 single storey floor plan. Justify why they choose the plan. Upload in e-learning. Due date. (End of first week)
