This paper discusses building identification from high-resolution satellite images using an Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) to monitor illegal land usage amid rapid urbanization. The methodology includes various image processing techniques such as filtering, RGB band separation, and Histogram of Oriented Gradients (HOG) feature extraction to improve the accuracy of building detection. The implementation demonstrated effective results in classifying building and non-building pixels using data from Bing Maps.
