What is Durisol? • Durisol is a proprietary material sometimes called “woodcrete” – Clean recycled waste wood is “mineralised” and used as a replacement for aggregates in a concrete mix, producing a durable material with an open matrix » Fire proof » Rot proof » Lightweight » Resistant to wood boring insects

Forming Durisol Walling • Durisol is cast into wall form units - PFA • Uniform and consistent sizing (engineered finish) • 4 No sizes (170 – 365mm wide) - Lightweight under CDM regs - only 8 units required per m2 • Dry stacked without mortar from foundations • Use of high slump concrete fill guarantees void free fill of forms • Easily altered on site • Units can be self palletised - minimising site waste – waste can be returned
