And when they came to Jordan, they cut down wood. But as one was cutting down a tree, the ax head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! It was a borrowed ax. The man of God said, Where did it fall? And he showed him the place. Elisha cut off a stick, and threw it in the water; and the iron ax head came to the surface. Elijah said, Take it out.
