Camelopardalis is a northern constellation created in 1624 to fill empty space surrounded by more famous constellations like Ursa Major and Perseus. It depicts an odd animal that is a combination of a camel and leopard. While its name is difficult to pronounce, the creator simply chose it because they liked the way it sounded.

STORYS OR MYTHS ON CAMELOPARDLIS WAS SUPPOSIVELY CREATED TO FILL A VAST REGION OF FAINT STARS SURROUNDED BY THE BRIGHTEER AND MORE FAMOUS CONSTELLATIONS OF URSA MAJOR, AURIGA, PERSEAUS, CASSEIOPEIA , AND OTHERS!!! THIS CONSTELLATION WAS FIRST DESCRIBED BY JAKOB BARTSCH IN 1624…….. BUT CREATED BY PETER PLANCIUS
