This document defines and describes various camera shots and angles used in filmmaking. A master shot shows an entire scene with all characters in view. Close ups show a subject in large scale while extreme close ups show the subject in a very large scale tightly framed. Mid shots show some part of a subject in detail while still showing enough context. Long shots, wide shots, and two shots depict characters or relationships from a distance in the frame. Aerial shots are taken from high angles while point of view and over the shoulder shots frame the subject from a character's perspective.
