- 2. Caring For Sharring LEUKEMIA WARRIOR Sharring Faamalo Fanene Aoelua
- 8. Sharring was born on Christmas, December 25, 1982. Her grandmother is Lusila Galeai Aoelua. Her grandfather is Vaa Valovalo Aoelua.
- 13. Sharring attended Aua Elementary School. She spent the following 4 years at Fagaitua High.
- 15. Sharring was very active at Fagaitua. She was in the NHS, JROTC and served as the Student Body Vice- President.
- 18. Sharring was Captain of the Cheerleading Squad and the Miss Fetu o Sasa’e.
- 20. Sharring graduated a Viking with honors. She continued her education at ASCC and tutored, performed in the theatrical arts and participated in all SGA activities.
- 22. Sharring helped fundraise for the new ASCC library and graduated a member of the Phi Theta Kappa.
- 25. Sharring served as leader and secretary in church. She also played volleyball while stationed at Germany.
- 27. Sharring fell in love & married her college sweetheart, Jonathan Niusulu from the village of Pago Pago.
- 30. On Good Friday, April 2010, Sharring was diagnosed with LEUKEMIA.
- 33. She lost her hair, went through 8 cycles of chemotherapy, monthly intratheco procedures, numerous biopsies and much more.
- 34. The medications and transfusions are very costly but they are needed to keep her alive.
- 37. Cancer is painful and lonely. Sharring drinks lots of pills daily. The drugs make her weak, nauseous, dizzy, lose her appetite, forgetful, have mood swings, difficult to concentrate, migraines, and sensitive to sunlight.
- 38. Sharring caught the cough from someone and was rushed to the ICU.
- 39. Because of the many prayers and love from others, especially our Savior, Sharring is pulling through this horrible experience.
- 43. When Sharring is able, she attends bone marrow drives to help find matches for any cancer patient including herself. She loves to serve.
