CBN, an ISP operating since 1996, has made significant strides in IPv6 development, achieving milestones from receiving IPv6 allocations to implementing dual stack broadband across several Indonesian cities. Challenges faced include vendor delays, lack of standard features, and customer readiness for IPv6 adoption. CBN aims to enhance IPv6 implementation support by automating address assignments and improving DNS query capabilities.

What We learnt ? • Delay from vendors to provide feature that required by CBN • Need standard feature IPv6 for CPE • Support funds from Shareholder • Dedicated customer still not ready to implement IPv6 • Still need content provider support to implement IPv6 especially in Indonesia • Customer didn’t aware with IPv6, as long as they can connected to Internet .
