The paper presents CFMS, a cluster-based convergecast framework aimed at improving data collection efficiency in dense multi-sink wireless sensor networks (WSNs) by addressing issues like packet collisions, congestion, and data redundancy. It introduces a lightweight protocol integrating clustering, path-vector routing, and scheduling to enhance network lifetime, mitigate delays, and optimize packet delivery. Simulation results indicate that CFMS significantly reduces message overhead and increases overall network performance compared to existing solutions.
