  1. Study the history and changes in the care of individuals with special
     needs.

  2. What impact did the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Law 94-142 passed in
     1975, IDEA-P.L. 101-476, IDEA 97, IDEA 04 and the amendments, P.L. 98-199
     and P. L. 99-457 have on education?

  3. How has IDEA, IDEA 97 and IDEA 2004 changed the services for infants,
     preschoolers and school-aged children?

  4. List some of the organizations that provide different services for
     individuals, particularly young children, with special needs.

  5. Define the term least restrictive. How does this apply to children in the
     public schools?

  6. What is an I.E.P.? Who participates in the development of the I.E.P.?
     What kinds of objectives are included in an I.E.P.? Give examples.
