city for five days from the Kartik ekadashi to Kartik Poornima is another
major reason for its place on the world map.

Four Badagrahis (body protector-cum-servitors) transfers soul from
the old idols into the new idols. It is an elaborate ritual that happens
under the cover of darkness during which four servitors transfers

 9) Destiny Nicole Frasqueri (born June 14, 1992) is an Afro-Puerto
Rican independent alternative hip hop and alternative
R&B recording artist and songwriter based in New York City.
Formerly known by her stage names "Wavy Spice" or "Destiny“. The
image shows her performing at the Sunfall festival. Under what

animated movie festival held annually in Seattle, Washington. The
name is a tribute to one of the most used/understood phrases in the
English language, and with slight changes, refers to the common
attribute shared by all animated works of the initial years, till

19) Following are some of the myths and legends associated with a certain
celebration :
• According to the Puranas, Indra was humiliated by the demon king Bali, during
the war between gods and demons. Indra’s wife goes to Vishnu for advice and he
gives her something that would help her cause. She returns satisfied, and does as
Vishnu had asked her to.
• When Vishnu took control of all the three worlds from Bali, Bali asked vishnu to
stay with him at his palace. Vishnu granted the wish, but Lakshmi wasn’t happy
with it, So she goes to Bali, and as a return favour for something she did, she
asks Bali to let Vishnu move back to Vaikuntha.
• On insistence of shubh, labh, and the eventual reccomendation of Narada,
Santhoshi maa was born. This solved the grievance that Shubh and labh were
facing.

 Donington Park is a motorsport circuit located near Castle
Donington in Leicestershire, England. It has hosted the 1993 F1
European Grand Prix. Since 2003, it is also the venue for a music
festival in which Black Sabbath, Slipknot, Metallica, Iron
Maiden, Motörhead, Aerosmith, AC/DC, et all have performed. The
name of the music festival was chosen for two reasons. ‘X’ing was a
dirty word in the music industry at the time, due to file sharing, and
rock is seen as a rebellious genre of music. Also ‘X’ was to be a
Monsters of Rock for the 21st century and the internet would
provide connectivity with its audience.
 What is the name of the festival?

 It is arguably Asia’s largest cattle fair. It is said that, Chandragupta
Maurya(340 - 297 BCE) used to buy elephants and horses during this
festival.
 The legend of Gajendhra Moksha states that Gajendra (the king of
elephants) was crossing river Gandak at this place when Gandharva
chief Huhu (crocodile) caught his legs in its jaws. This led to a fight
between the two during which Gajendra prayed to Lord Vishnu for
help. Lord Vishnu came to Gajendra’s rescue by taking the avatar
(incarnation) of Baba Hariharnath. He beheaded the crocodile and
saved the elephant king. In fact, the cattle fair used to commence
with the ceremonial bath of elephants on the occasion of Kartik
Purnima till a few years ago.
