- 2. What do chameleons eat? They eat mostly insects like flies, mosquitoes, and even bigger chameleons eat little chameleons and small birds. Chameleons do not like to eat plants so the just eat meat. Which means they are carnivores.
- 3. What cool body parts do they have? Chameleons have very long and fast tongues that helps them catch small and fast insects. There feet are very good for climbing trees. Chameleons can coil there tail to help them hang upside down.
- 4. Can chameleons change color? Yes, chameleons can change color but, you probably think that they change color to blend in with there surroundings but that is wrong. Chameleons change color because of their body temperature or their mood. When chameleons are angry, afraid , or excited they will become darker and have red and yellow spots.
