Alana goes on a date with Harry Brown after school. She has a wonderful time and returns home in a happy mood, but her mother Amelia is concerned because both Alana and Harry come from legacy families who have not yet decided on an heir. Alana insists she is not thinking long-term about the relationship. Amelia remains worried about choosing an heir for her own family from her four daughters, as each child has different strengths and weaknesses for the role.
